Rev 3: case studies live under the Insights “Projects” category and are tagged by service + suburb – each tag is a long-tail SEO surface (“CDC Sutherland Shire”) and powers the “Recent work” blocks on matching service pages. Project photography also feeds the Facebook channel (project work, building marketing reach with older builders – Rev 5 social segmentation).
CC to OC without a single compliance surprise
42 apartments over 3 retail tenancies. Appointed at design stage, we caught the fire safety issues on paper, ran every mandatory inspection, and issued the OC on the developer’s settlement schedule.
Review G7: the case-study template previously left undesigned. Structure: challenge → approach → outcome → metrics → CTA. Anonymised until client permissions land (Tier 2: 2-3 named studies). Doubles as the guide-style article template (G1).

The challenge
A staged mixed-use build with a hard settlement date, a fire safety schedule drafted against superseded drawings, and a developer who’d been burned before by OC-stage surprises.
What we did
- Design-stage BCA and fire safety review before CC – two issues resolved as drawing markups, not variations
- Pre-OC checklist issued with the CC so certificates were collected as work proceeded
- All mandatory critical stage inspections, tracked through our ISO 9001 system
- Interim OC strategy for the retail tenancies ahead of residential completion
The outcome
Final OC issued on schedule. No compliance rework, no settlement delay, and a fire safety schedule the owners corporation can actually maintain. The developer has engaged us on their two subsequent projects.
“The pre-OC checklist alone was worth the fee. Nothing at the end was a surprise.”
